How to make your ATP Stand out

We equip you with key tools to meet the university standard for the exam by integrating insights from lectures, exercises, the textbook and past exams. Our approach is structured around three key pillars :

1) Step-by-step explanations

2) Practice

3) Concrete examples

  • Module duration: 9 hours

Microeconomics is the framework for disciplined economic thinking. This course is built to provide a rigorous and durable foundation in economic reasoning. The objective is to develop a precise understanding of how economists construct arguments, how assumptions determine outcomes, and how abstract structures are used to analyze real economic situations.

The course centers on individual decision-making, strategic interaction, and market mechanisms as they are taught and assessed in the HSG curriculum. Emphasis is placed on internal coherence, clarity of reasoning, and the correct use of formal tools, including graphs and elementary mathematics, as a language rather than a shortcut.

Examination preparation follows naturally from this approach. Students learn to identify the structure behind a question, select the appropriate framework, and produce answers that are logically consistent, well-argued, and academically sound.

  • Module duration: 9 hours

    Additional Study guide: 75 pages

Mathematics is treated here as a language of rigor. This module is designed to provide a solid and coherent foundation in the mathematical reasoning required for the HSG curriculum, with a focus on structure, precision, and logical consistency.

The course develops the ability to read, construct, and manipulate mathematical arguments. Emphasis is placed on understanding definitions, working with limits and sequences, and reasoning about convergence, continuity, and approximation. Proof-based intuition is introduced where necessary, not as an end in itself, but as a way to clarify why results hold and how assumptions matter.

Preparation for examinations follows from this approach. Students learn to recognize standard problem structures, apply the appropriate tools with discipline, and produce clear, correct solutions under time constraints.

  • Module duration: 9 hours

    Additional Study guide: 83 pages

This module approaches accounting as a core business function within the firm. It focuses on how companies in the Swiss context record, structure, and use financial information to monitor performance, ensure control, and support decision-making.

The course develops a practical understanding of accounting mechanisms as they operate inside an organization, from transaction recording to the preparation and interpretation of financial statements. Emphasis is placed on internal coherence, valuation choices, and the way accounting information reflects the economic reality of the firm under Swiss standards.

Examination preparation is integrated into this framework. Students learn to analyze business situations, apply the appropriate accounting treatment, and produce clear, consistent solutions that meet HSG academic and exam requirements. The objective is operational reliability.

Individualised, tailored one-to-one tutoring

sessions focusing on:

A. Improving the structural and

argumentative framework of the paper

Structuring a 20,000-character paper is

relatively easy. However, the ATP

requires a much more comprehensive

approach and structure. We provide

feedback on the overall structure of

your paper, ensuring that you do not

overlook any decisive aspects in its

drafting.

Providing regular feedback, advice,

and areas for improvement

Depending on your availability, we aim to

provide regular feedback, allowing you to

incorporate adjustments and advice over

time.

C. Sourcing, and academic requirements

specific to your paper type

The ATP is the final paper of your first

undergraduate year. Worth 5 ECTS, this

paper requires a significant personal

investment.

With higher academic requirements and

45,000 characters to write, we provide

insights into the most important grade-

relevant factor

We operate strictly within the principles of good scientific practice as defined by Swiss universities, including the Code of Academic Integrity of the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

Our support is entirely educational and formative.
We:

  • identify issues in structure, logic, and clarity;

  • encourage critical thinking and independent improvement.

We do not write, rewrite, or provide text to be inserted into any assignment.
We never intervene in the intellectual or scientific content of a paper.
Our comments and examples are meant to illustrate writing principles, not to produce material for submission.

This approach aligns with the educational mission of universities, promoting learning, intellectual honesty, and student autonomy.
It reflects the spirit of the HSG Code of Academic Integrity

By using our service, each student

  • remain the sole author of their work;
