Tutor Qualification Requirements
Our recruitment volume allows us to remain highly selective.
Every tutor is assessed against four criteria:
outstanding academic performance in the subject taught;
strong overall academic record;
full command of the language of instruction;
demonstrated tutoring, teaching or mentoring ability.
Tutor Training and Onboarding
Our onboarding follows a mandatory internal process:
1. Academic Certification
Tutors are trained on the course structure, teaching standards, materials and expected student outcomes.
2. Teaching Preparation
Each tutor prepares the course with an experienced tutor or Course Lead, including explanations, exercises, pacing and common student difficulties.
3. Co-Teaching Period
New tutors begin alongside an experienced tutor before taking full responsibility for a course.
4. Performance Review
Student feedback and teaching performance are reviewed after each delivery cycle.
Only tutors who meet our academic and pedagogical requirements teach independently.
Our Policy on Artificial Intelligence
At United Student, academic content remains entirely human-produced
AI never shapes our :

examination methodologies.
However, AI heavily supports our:

The Production of Academic Materials
Our materials are built as academic assets.
Every course follows a four-stage production process:
1. Curriculum Mapping
Review of course requirements, concepts, methods and examination expectations.
2. Academic Reconstruction
Content is reorganised from the student’s perspective, with clear sequencing and intermediate steps.
3. Teaching Validation
Materials are tested in live teaching and refined through recurring student questions and tutor observations.
4. Semester Review
Content is updated after each teaching cycle.
Every semester builds on the previous one.
